As part of the program, doctors and therapists working in neuro-rehabilitation from leading hospitals in Vietnam will receive in-depth training on neuro-rehabilitation after stroke at pioneering neuro-rehabilitation centers in Austria. The first course of the program was held at Bad Pirawarth Hospital and Christian Doppler Hospital in Austria.
Prof, Dr. Lương Tuấn Khanh – Director of the Rehabilitation Center of Bach Mai Hospital, participant of the first course, shared his thoughts on the program: “During our 3-week course in Austria, apart from re-visiting the basics of stroke, we were also introduced to the latest neuro-rehabilitation methods after stroke. After the course, I plan to submit 6 new technical and evaluation procedures during the neuro-rehabilitation period after stroke to the Ministry of Health for approval and implementation in the near future.” Other members of the team are enthusiastic about sharing what they have learned with colleagues working all over the country in the upcoming classes in Vietnam.

Following the neuro-rehabilitation after stroke courses in Austria, the AVANT Program will continue with classes for doctors and therapists working in neuro-rehabilitation in hospitals all over the country, as well as patients’ caretakers. The syllabus for the program, including the rehabilitation exercises, was carefully constructed to accommodate the different levels of learners by Prof. Andreas Winkler and Prof. Bernhard Iglseder from Austria. The book “Neurorehabilition After Stroke” and the illustration video compiled by Ever Pharma and the professors will be used as key materials for the courses. The book will be provided to doctors, therapists and caretakers free of charge, in the hoping of spreading knowledge on neurorehabilitation after stroke to members of society.
With contribution to the community as our top priority, we welcome all doctors, therapists and caretakers of stroke patients to sign up to participate in one of our courses on neuro-rehabilitation after stroke. Ever Pharma is proud to sponsor this program.
