The AVANT program holds to join hands with health workers to regain's patients independence at a fastest pace.
As part of the program, doctors and therapists working in neuro-rehabilitation from leading hospitals in Vietnam will receive in-depth training on neuro-rehabilitation after stroke at pioneering neuro-rehabilitation centers in Austria.
The first course was held at the Hospital of Rehabilitation Bad Pirawarth and Hospital Christian Doppler (Austria).
The training content consisted of two principal sections: Stroke general knowledge including how to diagnose, cure, neuro recovery mechanism and relapse prevention; Basic neuro rehabilitation exercises help post-stroke patients return to daily life soon after a stroke.
The training program is expected to spread across the country, from central hospitals to health centers at all levels in three years. /. "
